Modelling and texturing of B747-8F
Due to the nature of this project, all models should be made 1:1 and as accurate as possible because they need to interact with human beings as a virtual environment after deployment.
However, there was a lack of accurate references during the production.
Fortunately, the project team has succeeded in catching this aircraft for a few times while it landed in the airport, in order to take several photos and measure the size of some crucial accessories such as passengers’ door and side cargo door.
So what the rest is, to calculate according to proportion and common senses based on these data. As a 3D modeller, this kind of experience is fresh and inspiring also, :)
